One of the most magical places in all of the United States is Great Sand Dunes National Park. late in the evening as the sun passes over the horizon, the last light of the day illuminates the western faces of the sand dunes, casting a deep shadow to the east. Wind whips sand through the dunes which catches the remaining light and shows how these dunes are constantly reshaping themselves.
